About DC and BS

I am not a doctor, but I like to pretend like one so that I can steal poofy hats.

I’m DC.  I manage a large planetarium in a large-ish metropolitan area of a Midwestern city.  I have a toddler daughter, and a pregnant wife, three cats, and a yardful of vicious squirrels.

WARNING: I do not have an astronomy background, nor do I have a teaching background.  I have a media background, and I’m proud to be a planetarian, in other words, an A/V geek living out his dream.  Astronomy is something I’m having to learn, which is sometimes an uphill battle because there is literally new astronomy news every single day.

I love the media aspect of the planetarium industry, and can (and often will) talk about it until I’m blue in the face.  Feel free to stop me if I babble.
